Dear Friends,

21 February 2015 marks the 137th birth anniversary of the Mother. As our humble homage to Her, a set of photographs of the Mother taken on 21 February 1958—that is, on the Her eightieth birthday—has been published in the online forum of Overman Foundation.

In these photographs one can see the Mother with the special birthday cake made for the occasion, inspecting the March Past held at the Ashram Theatre and reading out the following message to the All India Radio:

“To celebrate the birth of a transitory body can satisfy some faithful feelings. “To celebrate the manifestation of the eternal Consciousness can be done at every moment of the universal history. “But to celebrate the advent of a new world, the supramental world, is a marvellous and exceptional privilege.”
